Moments of the Week – #5

A bunch of awesome moments from this week!

 Checking in at the Vancouver Farmer’s Market with my bag of local snap peas! What a fantastic snack!!

 

From the LIFE is Good Conference - I don’t think you see these kinds of rooms at most conferences. :)

 

A short walk from the conference to the Columbia River; on the other side is Portland, Oregon (in the distance).

 

It’s not often you’ll be in gorgeous sun and can see the ominous clouds ahead – ah, the Pacific Northwest…

 

Yup, it was quite a storm I got myself caught in.

 

In the wild: a wet Nathan waiting for a ride!

 

Super food breakfast: bananas, pears, dates, walnuts, goji berries, cacao nibs, cinnamon and ginger!!

 

My couchsurfing host Michael showing off the VW bus he’s restoring; he and Stacey are taking it on a 6-week road trip this summer, from Washington all the way to Florida and back!

This picture cracks me up. I was just trying to grab a shot of me, and I captured the unsuspecting woman next to me – ha! The inclusion of her makes me look like an even bigger dork with that smile!

 

My buddy Brad in Seattle. Is he happy to see me? :)

 

 Angie’s Gingerbread house from Christmas 2011 (still going strong!) – apparently, this is her 7th year hosting parties to make these! Everything is edible, so to speak (sugar coma, the gift that keeps on giving!). ;)

 

For dinner, picked some fresh herbs from the garden: oregano and rosemary! The smell was divine!!
